Archery Division

Manager: Mike Webb, (810) 982-5689
The Archery Division uses toys
that go 'TWANG' instead of 'BANG'. During the winter months they
are sharpening their target skills on the indoor range, or
competing against one of several other local clubs for a traveling trophy. Summer finds the local 'William Tells' out in
the woods on the north side of the property, stalking many 3D
targets on a two-mile trail.
Artillery Division

Manager: Brian Haack, (810) 395-3535
The Artillery Division
is a fun group of people that like things that go "BOOM"!
Bull's Eye Pistol Division

Manager: Don Pearson, (810) 364-9258; or Gerry Boettner, (810) 364-9763
Shooting Wednesday nights
on the indoor range in the winter, the Bull's Eye guys have a
small but devoted following. Indoor distances are 25 yards
and outdoor up to 50 yards. This is one demanding
discipline of pistol shooting. Join them at 6:30pm for
informal practice. Targets are included in the range fee.
Combat Division

Manager: David Bryan, (519) 336-1690,
codeeagle@hotmail.com
Evolving from Police
Pistol Competition, and a derivative of International Defensive
Pistol Association (IDPA), the Combat Division shoots an action
style of shooting that utilizes movement, cover, tactical
reloading and situational awareness. Indoors in the
winter, outdoors in the summer. Always Thursday nights at
6:45pm. If you are unsure of this type of shooting, come
out and watch. You are sure to be shooting with them the
next week. Winter months brings the challenge of bowling
pins the last Friday of each month. At 8:00pm the range is
configured for casual plinking and target shooting.
Targets are included in the range fee.
The Combat Division also holds several 3-gun matches during the
summer. These action packed events are filled with
pistols, rifles and shotguns, sometimes fired in combination on
the same stage of fire. It's an exciting and fun time for
all shooters and spectators. For more information on 3-gun
combat matches, visit:
www.Michigan3GunCombat.com.

Cowboy Action Shooting Division

Manager: David Bryan, (519) 336-1690,
codeeagle@hotmail.com
Several times during the
year, this division holds Cowboy matches complete with Colt
six-shooters, lever action rifles, boots, buscadero rigs and
side by side shotguns. It's a hootin', hollerin', foot
stompin' good time for all. Watch our
calendar page
or visit
www.WolverineRangers.org for more information.

Junior Smallbore Division

Manager: Jim Sturdevan, (810) 984-3593 or Jerry Silvas, (810) 364-8406
BWSA has an active Junior's program running Tuesday nights.
Indoors in the winter with Anschutz and Kimber target rifles for
loan. Outdoors with the club's National Match AR-15s. Range fee is nominal
and it includes, instruction on safety and position shooting,
use of the rifles, targets and all the ammunition the youngsters
can shoot. If you have a teen at home that you want to get
into shooting there is no better place to do it than on our
supervised ranges with their peers.

Enforcement agencies in the area. They include, Port Huron
City Police, Marysville City Police, St. Clair County Sheriff,
Treasury Department Customs, Border Patrol and the United States Coast Guard.
Muzzleloader Division

Manager: Ron Provost, (810) 326-0285; or Pete Galante, (810) 384-6096
If you like the low
throaty roar and the billowing clouds of black powder, then our
muzzleloader shooters are the gang to hang out with. With a
pavilion on their main range, they are ready to barbeque while
they are ramming bullets down the barrel. The Muzzleloader
Division has several big shoots during the year, winter
included. Come on out and shoot that smoke pole.
We have lots of Muzzleloading shooting going on all year
long!
Starting in January, we have a Winter League that shoots
twice a month into April. We just bundle up for the weather and
shoot in the snow and cold whatever the temperature. We have a
wood burning stove out back that sure makes it more fun than in
the old days.
Our Summer League starts around the third Tuesday in May,
and we shoot every Tuesday 4 til 8 until the first week in
September. Any weeks you miss can be made up on another week. In
the summer we shoot at a variety of different paper targets,
clangers, woods walks and Novelty Nights with breakables and
clangers. It's a fun league and a real challenge. If you don't
have time or care to join our league, you still can shoot any
week with us. Pick up a schedule any Tuesday night. The
league shoots 10 to 12 shots each week, so there's plenty of
time for extra plinking, sighting in and practice. The league
fee is $20.00, which includes prizes for all. There is a range
fee of $3.00 for members and $10.00 for non-members per week.
We try to have a Traditional Woods Walk once a month with 15
shots at clangers, a hawk and knife throw and fire starting. Once
in the spring and fall, we have a Pistol Woods Walk. You
can use a cap and ball revolver or single shot muzzleloading
pistol.
Last but not least, we have our Last Blast of the Year
shoot. This shoot will have different divisions, modern inline,
traditional rifle and smoothebore. This is a woods walk and
some novelty shots with breakables. This shoot takes place on
the last Sunday of December. We have lots of muzzleloading
events all designed to be fun and present a challenge to all,
whether you're a beginner or an experienced shooter.
North-South Skirmish Division

Manager: Brian Haack, (810) 395-3535
North-South Skirmish
Association with their Civil War uniforms, weaponry and atmosphere.
Shotgun Division

Manager: Mark Burger, (810) 966-4935
Trap or skeet, BWSA has
them both. We currently have 3 skeet fields with high and
low houses, and 7 trap fields. All are lighted so shooting
is available later in the evenings all year round. Our
fields are equipped with Canterbury Voice Releases for
convenience and accuracy to insure you have a fun round.
Leagues for nearly every conceivable shooter are run year-round;
small bore, women's, men's, mixed, junior's. Open shooting
is available as well. The fields are open Tuesday,
Thursday, and Sunday. Stick around after you shoot and play a
game of Euchre while you enjoy a snack, grilled fresh.
The club's Amateur Trap Association (ATA) affiliation allows for
many competitive matches through out the season, bringing many
shooters from around the Thumb and Southeast Michigan.
