This program teaches 4 Position rifle skills and awards shooters for their achievements with rankings and medals. The rifles we supply are precision target rifles. This allows us the ability to offer interested shooters an opportunity to participate in precision rifle league competition as well as travel to sanctioned matches. This is a path for serious shooters to advance toward collegiate rifle competition. We are proud and happy to provide the equipment and environment, for the youth of our community, to sample this great sport without having to first purchase their own equipment.Precision rifle is an NCAA sport as well as an Olympic sport. This means that scholarships are available for precision shooters to aspire to. It is also a lifetime sport for those of us that simply enjoy the camaraderie and challenge of competitive shooting. Self-ImprovementSuccess in Precision shooting requires a positive attitude and develops responsibility, concentration, focus, awareness, analytical thinking & problem solving, self-control, self-discipline, goal setting, perseverance and learning to deal with achievement and disappointment. These are the attributes of successful precision rifle shooters and are traits that will serve the athlete well throughout life.We meet on Tuesdays from October to April with groups shooting at 5:45pm and 7:00pm.Doors open at 5:00pm, arrive & set up 5:15-5:30pm shooting starts at 5:45pm. I met the owner of this company (Don Kettles) 3 years ago at Camp Perry and was impressed and interested. I experimented with this product and have been very happy with its use as a non-toxic replacement for Hoppe's No 9. I have been using it exclusively for 2 years for my firearms and my son, who shoots for University of Tennessee, uses it to maintain his rifles. I'm a believer in Gunzilla. Last summer I procured a "dealer" relationship with Don in order to offer this product to our shooters as well as to maintain BWSA's Smallbore rifles. It then seemed logical to try turning this into a fundraiser for our Juniors. Gunzilla is available, through club members, to interested parties with all proceeds going to help support the BWSA Jr. Smallbore program. We are selling Gunzilla for a 10% discount off MSRP to the general public and 15% discount to BWSA members. I use and recommend the product based on its merits and my experience with it. So, if anyone wants any product from the website, let me know and I will supply it. I have some on hand and can get orders within a week. Gunzilla is a Lansing, Michigan company and shipping is prompt.Jerry Silvas (810) 364-8406Attention all Juniors! High Power UpdateAfter 20 years the Blue Water Sportsman's Association Junior High Power activities are under new management.
